The 2024 NC Potato Festival is happening May 17, 18, 19, 2024 in downtown Elizabeth City! Friday -- 5 pm to 11 pm | Saturday -- 10 am to 11 pm Sunday 10 am to 6 pm Plan for the annual National Potato Peeling Contest, the Little Miss Tater Tot Contest, midway rides and games, the Auto and Bike Show, free French fries (while they last), Cornhole Tournament, the CGEA 5K Run, lots of vendors, interesting as well as traditional festival foods, and an amazing lineup of local- and nationally-known musicians throughout the three-day event.
